There are various options in the Play Store.
You could try using a different keyboard. It might happen in the browser, during a call, or at some other time. Quite a few people seem to have run into a problem where the keyboard randomly disappears when it shouldn’t. If asked to confirm, use the Volume and Power keys to select Yes.
